What Every Lip Piercing at Stacked Has in Common
Regardless of which type you choose, every lip piercing at Stacked is approached the same way:
We assess your anatomy before anything is marked. We use only ASTM F136 implant-grade titanium for initial jewelry. We do not rush placement. We require a six-week check-up to assess healing and downsize if needed. And we stay with you through the process.
The experience is never clinical, never rushed, and never a transaction. It is a placement designed around your face and your anatomy, done with care from start to finish.
How to Choose
If you are not sure which lip piercing is right for you, the best starting point is a consultation. We will look at your anatomy, talk through the look you are building, and give you an honest read on which placements make sense and which may not be the right fit.
What we do not do is push you toward a placement that will not serve you well. If the anatomy does not support what you came in wanting, we will tell you — and we will help you find something that does.
Book an Appointment
Not sure what type of lip piercing you would like or what would work best with your anatomy? No problem, book a labret appointment and we will run you through the Stacked Method to help you decide, and switch if necessary.
Lip Piercing FAQ
Which lip piercing heals the fastest?
Labret, Monroe, and Medusa piercings generally heal most predictably, typically within 3–4 months with good aftercare. Through-lip piercings — vertical labret, Ashley, and Jestrum — tend to take longer, often 3–6 months or more, due to the additional tissue involved and the constant movement of the lip during daily life.
Do all lip piercings use the same jewelry?
No. Labret, Monroe, Ashley, and Medusa piercings use flat back posts. Vertical labret and Jestrum piercings use curved barbells. The jewelry type is determined by the placement path, not personal preference — using the wrong type for a given placement creates healing problems. We guide you through the right options at your appointment.
Can I get more than one lip piercing at the same time?
In some cases, yes. It depends on which piercings you are considering, how close together the placements are, and how you typically heal. We will look at your anatomy and give you an honest recommendation. Healing multiple lip piercings simultaneously is manageable when approached thoughtfully, but it does require more attentive aftercare.
What age is required for lip piercings at Stacked?
All lip piercing types at Stacked are available for clients ages 15 and older.
How much do lip piercings cost at Stacked?
The piercing fee is $70 for each lip piercing type. Jewelry is priced separately. The fee is collected in full at booking.
Do you use piercing guns for lip piercings?
No. We use needles for every piercing at Stacked. Needles allow for precise angle control, cleaner tissue displacement, and better healing outcomes than a gun — especially for facial piercings where placement accuracy is everything.
Is a six-week check-up required?
Yes, for every lip piercing type. The six-week check-up is a required part of the process at Stacked. It gives us a chance to assess how the piercing is healing and perform the complimentary downsize if the fit calls for it. Downsizing at the right time is one of the most important things you can do for a healing lip piercing.
I'm not sure which lip piercing I want. Can I book a consultation first?
Absolutely. A consultation is a great starting point if you are weighing options or not sure what your anatomy will support. We will look at your specific facial structure, talk through the look you are building, and give you an honest read on what makes sense before anything is booked.
